This new course will focus on building skills for the student when they are speaking to peers, teachers, and other adults.
In this course, the student will enjoy being inspired and challenged to read and write in a variety of genres. We will explore novels and literary elements, such as foreshadowing, flashbacks, cliffhangers and more.
The Grade 1 & 2 summer school program is designed to provide students with a balanced Literacy Framework that will help build reading, writing, listening and oral language skills.

The Grade 3-5 summer school program is designed to provide students with study and practice in the areas of writing, reading, speaking and listening. In accordance with the regular school year, the 6 Traits of Writing is the framework upon which students will be using on a daily basis.
