We will engage in lab-based activities designed to enhance understanding of functions, graphing and slope.
This course is designed to explore science through practical, interactive activities and projects meant to boost creativity, curiosity, and imagination while developing basic scientific analysis and problem-solving skills. Key areas of focus will be ecology, biology, chemistry, and physical science, with an emphasis on observation and data collection both inside and outside the classroom. Students who sign up for this class should have enthusiasm for the subject and a keen interest in preparing for success in both middle and upper school science.
This Reading and Writing course for 6th grade is primarily designed to develop student's ability in the English language. This course is suitable for students of all levels.
The class involves a heavy MUN, public-speaking focus, and was a very popular class last summer.
A solid basic foundation in reading, writing, and mathematics skills is key for academic success. In this course, instruction is tailored to the individual needs of each student and may include grammar, vocabulary, and other learning strategies. This class has limited enrollment and is open to EAL and Academic Support students; however, other students will be considered if they have specific learning needs.

Students will embark on a journey of Art and Innovation, utilizing technology in the understanding, designing and producing new media art.
