The TAS Summer Academy course “Robotics Engineering and Technology” is a two-week summer program that fulfills the Upper School graduation requirement for Computer Science and Robotics. This course can be taken for credit in place of an existing Computer Science course or in conjunction with the Computer Science curriculum.
No previous experience is required, and the class starts from the beginning assuming no prior electronics knowledge. This course is ideally suited for students who are interested in robotics, and enjoy completing interactive electronic projects or want to make room in their schedule by completing this graduation requirement over the summer. Students will complete a series of VEX Robotics challenges during the course.
Successful completion of this course satisfies the Computer Science & Robotics graduation requirement.
